Artist statement—
Artist statement: This mural depicts the flow of water in a three-strand braid of hair. Within the water are salmon, which represent abundance and wealth. Water woven into a braid represents the three host First Nations and how connected our communities are. The design represents interconnectedness, relationships, and family.
“…building on these themes of interconnectedness, diversity and family.”
